In the summer of 2024, GGF sponsored and provided financial support for three non-profit members and several other students from the same school to participate as student representatives in a three-week cultural exchange program in Wuzhishan, Hainan. During the program, they shared their experiences and taught at local primary and secondary schools while also learning about and appreciating the local culture in Hainan. The event was highly successful, allowing American and Chinese students to exchange ideas and gain a deeper understanding of each other’s cultures. After returning to school, the student representatives prepared and delivered speeches to share their experiences, encouraging others to participate in similar cultural exchange activities and explore different regional cultures. The success of this event also helped promote the upcoming 2025 American Return Visit Program for Hainan Students, jointly organized by GGF, as well as the 2025 Summer Table Tennis Provincial Team Training in Hainan. These initiatives aim to help more students create and embrace valuable opportunities for growth and connection.
